They have suspended court weddings.

Courts are suspending marriages since they are non-essential. Please, please... Check on this before thinking you can just appear there...

Make plans now.

This depends on the location. I work at a law firm and just spoke with a judicial assistant at the courthouse. They are still doing this where I am. The head judge of the circuit courts just made that decision. They are however limiting how many people come in with them to 4.

Missouri is a no, but maybe depending on county you could? My hope was to let people know that it isn't a given that you can just go to court house. I've seen that said on many, many threads about moving dates.

This is the reason why we got our marriage license yesterday I was afraid if we wanted longer we wouldn’t get it.

Do you know how to submit it? Because something could happen in the interim...

WI. There are some locations not doing them here but we are. But we don't have any cases by us right now. If the situation changes I was told that they could also change the decision.

We got ours yesterday too! We plan on eloping on April 23rd during the 60 day period. If they are closed during that time at least you could still mail the form back to the court house and with the post date they should be able to process it as If a pandemic never shut the world down. Good luck!

Where are you in MO?? I'm in MO as well and am not aware of courthouses being shutdown, just the courts themselves. As far as I understand the directive, I could go to the courthouse as long as I would meet the criteria for admittance (no foreign travel or travel to coronavirus outbreak locations, no fever or cough, etc).

Same...we went this morning and picked ours up. As of now Arizona is not on a complete shut down, but we thought better safe than sorry for heading to the County Clerks office to make sure we had the proper paperwork for when we do get married.

Congrats! We're also in AZ and we picked up ours as well today!

Our venue has not yet cancelled since we are under 20, but it's better to have it on hand just in case.
