Not a theme. Mostly just colours and a feel. It's burgundy, ivory and neutral/nature colours. We are having rustic elements, blended with elegant elements. I think we've achieved a nice balance.
Our theme is southern belle. We're getting married steeple chase weekend just outside of Charlotte, NC. Trying hard to keep it southern, not rustic. Fine line.
Is alcohol a theme? We just want a big party with all of our close friends and family. We booked a venue just this week where the focal point is an awesome rich dark wood bar. This is now giving me ideas...
Vintage/Bohemian/Rustic Chic. We are born & raised in KS. FH is a big hunter, but there will be NO cowboy boots, vests or camo! I'm an earthy hippie chick, that likes to get my hands dirty & play in my garden. I will be walking down the aisle barefoot w/ a vintage ivory lace dress & flowers in my hair. Some mason jars, but alot more glass bottles & wine jugs. Lots & lots of gerbera daisies. I don't really have colors, but I'm really feeling the vintage satin dusty rose color. My side of the wedding party will be in lace as well, in the dusty rose color. No boots for them either, barefoot all the way!!
Our theme is Irish Scottish because that is both of our main heritage. The guys will be wearing kilts and everything is being based around the Claddagh and Celtic knot
Colors are Canary, gold and grey. Getting married in Vegas, so I created scratch off STDs. Not sure what invitations will be. No Elvis or anything, so not sure I have a theme. Just want to marry my love , drink and party with our loved ones!
I guess by default we had a beach theme. We got married on the beach, our centerpieces had shells and starfish and water/floating candles and the cake had chocolate shells decorating it. But it was more of beachy touches than all-out beach.
