Vintage-garden-spring soirée we want to utilize as much twinkle lights as possible to get a warm fairytale glow since our reception will begin in the evening outside in a beautiful landscaped garden
@HisMrs2017 ours is also Old Hollywood Glam inspired by our 40's style engagement pics and the venue which is an Italian restaurant with lots of black and white pics on the walls. Our colors are black, ivory, champagne and gold

Our ceremony will be on the beach so we are carrying over the beachy theme to the reception, invites and a little bit on our website.
I'm doing a Cosmic theme. I love anything to do with Outer Space and the Galaxies, so I'm setting mine up to look like your walking into the Milky Way Galaxy with a class of elegance.
Vintage Celestial! My inspiration came from "A Trip to the Moon" and the artwork from Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie album. Our colors are sapphire and silver (based on my e-ring) with black and gray as well. We are at a rustic venue so it's also kinda casual and rustic (but I didn't want a "rustic" theme per se) and it will have small touches of the celestial theme as well as some nerdy stuff popping up here and there! I know it sounds like it's all over the place, but it's coming together nicely
Our original date was October 23rd. We were going to have a Halloween masquerade ball...we both went through a pretty intense goth phase, and while that's mostly over, we still love Halloween and go all out for it every year.
Now that our date is April 1st (rescheduled because we decided venue was more important than the date) we have no theme. Just wedding themed, I suppose. Our colors are grey and green, because those are my favorite colors. But that's only intentionally extending as far as grey linens and a green bouquet. FH wants to wear a grey suit, but that's just his personal choice and has nothing to do with chosen colors.
No theme I guess . Our colors are black and white with gold accents. Since its in Vegas , we are throwing in tid bits of Vegas but not trying to over do it .
I don't have a theme but more of a feel that we are going for. Soft and romantic. Blush, silver and navy are our colors and I want to incorporate lots of candles as well.

We had small hints of VW buses. It's a big part of our relationship as we own two--a 1966 split window deluxe VW bus (the one in my avatar) and a 1973 VW bus westfalia, and he proposed while we were driving across country in our VW bus (we had stopped at Arches).
Our cake's center tier was inspired by the design on the front of the '66.
Our invitations, signs, and thank you notes had our VW bus in the background.
We were gifted a wedding quilt which the pattern was hand made. She took pictures of our bus, enlarged the size, and used those to create the quilted buses on the squares. We hung that behind our cake table.
DH had VW bus cufflinks.
Unfortunately, both of our buses broke down the week before the wedding (literally the week before--it was heartbreaking that we didn't have time to do the repairs beforehand), so they were at the wedding as planned.
Otherwise, I didn't have a theme or even a color theme, but I did have a description of what my wedding would be "whimsical, garden party wedding with touches of VW bus at a winery".
Beach theme for us! We've both loved the ocean since we were young, and our first vacations were to the beach. We always knew we wanted to get married on a beach, any beach. So lots of seashells, barefoot toes in the sand, etc. I'm hand making coconut cups for everyone to drink out of!
