I'm NOT looking forward to this part! When we get married, we will have been engaged for a little longer than 3 years, so it has been quite a hobby!!

Same boat here! I need a new project. I completed the addition to my house a few months before the wedding, the wedding was 2 weeks ago, and now I don’t know what to do with my “time.” Smiley laugh

I've been married 4 months and I go through waves of missing the planning and not missing dealing with vendors. I miss my wedding day more than any of the planning. There's still plenty of things to do afterward like write your thank you cards, get your photos and video back. We just got our video back and it was worth every penny. I can relive the day anytime I want. Long term though we'll be buying a house within two years and having kids before five years I know it sucks because you only get a short window to just be a bride!

Yes! I am lost lol. Trying to relax for a bit, make the most of my time now that I don’t have a million things to worry about for the wedding. Going to use my energy to work on fixing up our house and I’ve been offering my wedding planning “services” to my sister who isn’t anywhere close to being engaged yet😂

Yep! "Free time?! What is that?!" It feels weird to actually be able to go out, socialize, and get back to my art projects.

Yes!! It consumed so much of my time. In a way I'm relieved cause I couldn't do or talk about anything but the wedding (it felt like) and the anxiety was killing me, but now I'm like okay back to normal life. I'm also thinking of leaving the forum because I miss my wedding day so much but I'll stick around long enough to post my pro-BAM. Smiley sad

Not so much what do I do with my time, because I feel like our planning was way too easy and smooth and really didn't suck up much time. But I really miss the countdown and anticipation! I loved reaching 100 days, then 99, 30, 2 weeks, 10 days, single digits, one week, 3 days, tomorrow! And now we're married. And it feels just like it did before we got married lol.

Haha, my wedding is in 7 months (EXACTLY 7 actually, omg!) and as excited and anxious as I am for it to get here, I know I’m going to be so sad when it’s all over!

My MOH has been my best friend since we were 11 and she is very much not a planner (and I very much am) so our whole lives she’s always told me I can basically plan her wedding hahaha. She is in a serious relationship and they’ve talked about marriage, but are probably going to wait a little longer. I’m like “are you suuuure you don’t want to get married sooner?” because I’m so excited to help plan her wedding too 😂

YES! I feel very bored and unproductive at times because I'm not doing so much research, emailing, diy stuff anymore. I will only have 2 more months to feel this way though because tax season is starting up again so work is gonna take over my life soon. lol. Smiley xd

Same! IDK how I planned a wedding for 1yr and 10 months during my lunch break, after work and on weekends. Now I'm like what other project can I tackle.

I have been so busy since the wedding, I haven't had time to miss it! In fact, all of the boxes of stuff are still sitting in our living room and I haven't had a chance to go through them. I was out of town last weekend, and we have plans the next couple weekends as well. I am not sure when it's going to get done. We need to get to the "thank yous" asap though.

I loved planning the wedding and everything, except the rental company, went relatively smooth with the vendors. I want to keep planning. All of our guests kept asking me "Who put this all together?" ME! I did every last bit of it and I was so proud of how it turned out. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Nope I am so happy it is over! I had zero feelings of sadness that it is over. I am married to my best friend and now we can start planning our vacations and pay off some bills that we put off until after the wedding. For me it wasn't about the day but the journey! I do agree that it went by so super fast!
