The Same Chairs from the Ceremony to the Reception? :(

Chen, on March 19, 2011 at 12:53 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4

So we are now looking for chairs and I thought we have agreed on a Chivira chairs before.. now he wants a white folding one even worse the resin The Metal white folding chairs that I do not really like becuase it' looks like a chair from some Hospitals Smiley sad I am really disappointed.. and I also understand that we are coping with the budget but I do not want to use the same chairs that were used in the ceremony as people will have to carry these chairs and arrange it their selves in whatver table they want to sit down with Smiley sad All I wanted is a small yet elegant wedding.. and I think That is not ever gonna happen. FH doesn't want to spend 300 or more bucks for just chairs Smiley sad And we will have an outdoor wedding so we will be needing a lot of chairs as we will have one set for the ceremony and another for the reception but I guess he doesn't want to spend on chairs that much Smiley sad

We will be using the same chairs for ceremony and reception as well. I found a company here called The Butler Did It! (love that name!!) and they hire out people to do things like that for only about $20/hour/person. So we will be hiring a bartender and 2 servers (they will also be the ones to move the chairs). Maybe look for something like that and it won't be that much.

If you cant hire someone to move the chair for you- ask your family if they know of anyone you is out of work and could use extra cash just to move the chairs. We are hriing a cousins friend to bartend and set up our food.
