Hi Hi

What are your thoughts about kids attending your events? I have several nieces, nephews and cousins under the age of 12 that I have taken into consideration with all the planning. I can understand if you're having a big formal 5 course shindig, but our wedding is on the small side and will be on a beach.

The caterer has assured me that there's no additional cost for my little guest but that didn't really matter for me. I would rather spend the money for them than not have the entire family not be there because no one could watch the babies.

Are you expecting little people at your event? What can I do to make them actually enjoy the day like the big kids?

We are not having kids at our wedding. The hard part about this is deciding on the age limit. I said only 17 and up. If you are I wouldnt worry about activities too much, they love music and will spend most of the time dancing.

Yayayay. I am of the camp that kids should be at weddings. We are having a pumpkin carving contest and of course dancing kids like that and there will be a room with some boardgames, cards games, and cotton candy of course. It is a more formal wedding but I think they will have a good time.

Honestly my fiance and I are inviting kids to our wedding. We both work at a child care and kids definitely dont bother us but they also make the event more fun

We will have about 10 under the age of 10. We aren't doing anything special for them, but as pizza & cake are enjoyed by most people, I'm sure the kids will have a good time!

There will be enough going on throughout the night to where our kids attending will be entertained between the dancing and the games.

We had a whole bunch of kids at our wedding yesterday, including some babies, and honestly, it went great! The kids all behaved really well. We did have a games table that had some coloring books on it for the kids, but to be honest, I don’t think they used them. They mostly just hung out and enjoyed themselves like the adults did. My nephews definitely did play Uno, haha! Our caterer didn’t offer special kid’s meals, but it was BBQ so there were already plenty of kid friendly food choices. A couple of the kids were the stars of the dance floor, I think I boogied more with our 4 year old flower girl than anyone!
