The Fun Stuff !!!!!!

His:

Engagement pictures and visiting the venue. He doesn't like pictures and thought our session was so much fun and wanted to stay longer lol! I was really surprised. He also liked visiting the venues and felt very strongly about the one we chose. He drops by there when we have questions and they are so nice and helpful.

Mine:

Planning the theme and making gifts for everyone!

We enjoyed choosing food, and music for dancing and background. We come from drastically different cultures, our parent's generation born here. So, fun to provide familiar music for those 15-93, and some in both cultural groups. We spent two fun rainy evenings in front of the fireplace, going through music selections, listening to music one or both of us did not know. No pro DJ, so we did general playlist for the small dance band, then made CD'S for 45-75 minute blocks for the rest. Fun nights .

I loved doing our engagement photos! Our photographer made it so fun!

I think my favorite part is the count down. My FH keeps asking me how long til he gets to call me his wife.

Being in charge and being able to delegate the tasks later on LOL

In all honesty, I freaking LOVE making the tasks sheets and spreadsheets. I’m not very type A but I am a Major lister and it helps relax me to know where I’m on schedule and where I’m ahead. I also love finding good deals ($500 for 6 boutonnières, 1 bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, 2 pin on corsages, and 2 wrist corsages!)

Our favorite part has been planning the music! FH and I are really big on personalizing the night to be what we want it to be. Lots of wine filled nights listening to our favorite jams and laughing our you-know-whats off as we added fun dance music to the list!

Choosing all of our songs for the reception. So far, I’ve been trying to space out when to pick vendors otherwise it gets overwhelming when they all start back emailing.

Honestly, any part of planning that I get to do with my fiancé! He is so involved and I love picking out different things, getting his opinion on different ideas, and planning the wedding of our dreams.
