The farewell send off... what are you doing?

I have my heart set on doing the wedding sparklers send off but they can get super expensive if you get the 20" or bigger ones. Has anyone come across any really great deals on these or have any other great ideas they are using for their send off for a evening send off?

Live butterfly release? sounds amazing how does that work?

we have not planned ours so I'm not sure but I'm thinking sparklers or bubbles

If sparklers are not allowed at your venue, use tinsel wands. In photos they look like sparklers.
At one of my weddings, the guests threw white feathers at the couple after the ceremony (during the recessional).

The butterflies have to be released well before dark so they can find some flowers. They'll need to eat some nectar. Make sure there are blooming plants nearby.

I love sparklers but unfortunately my venue doesn't allow them. so we are doing bubbles instead.

Glow sticks are nice in place of sparklers! They look awesome in pictures too, this is what I'm thinking of doing, much more affordable than sparklers or fireworks!
