The bride's last hurrah!!!

So a friend of mine of mine asked me if the bride's last hurrah was a real thing and if I plan to do it, confused I looked at him like wth is that? He then proceeded to tell me he was approached by a bachlorette party at a bar bc he's been selected as a candidate for the bride's last hurrah. Basically the bride wanted him to be the last person she hooks up with before getting married. He declined but the bride along with her friends spent like 20 min trying to convince him its ok and even bought him drinks. I told him this is absolutely something I'm not planning on and that I don't think it's a real thing. But I had to share with my WW peeps and find out for sure bc I've learned about a lot on hear. Some great some bad and some just plain tacky.

    Someone else had mentioned being a BM for a bride that planned on doing this. She dropped out of the wedding. I would NOT do this.

    I didn't "hook up" when I was single (not dating anyone). I certainly wouldn't do it while planning my wedding. It's rude & disrespectful to FHs everywhere. It also reflects very poorly on the bride doing it.

    Ok so we're on the same page. I told my friend I was proud of him for having morals and declining. I'm sure if she kept trying she found someone willing.

    I have never heard of this, and there is nothing Hurrah about it. If that's the way she feels, she should call off the wedding.

    There is much less pressure to get married now and days.

    If people want to do stuff like this they could just respect the other person involved and just be single! (And don't get married!)

    I mean...I'm in an open marriage, and we STILL didn't do anything like this at either of our parties.

    (Ok, well...I kissed a couple girls, but they were all my friends. lol)

    A last hook up is gross. Why are you getting married if you are going to cheat on your fiance???
