The Average Cost of DJ

I live in D.C. and I'm paying $1300 for my Dj. He is also doing Uplighting and Fog machine. Is this too much?. From talking with my dad he thinks I got ripped off...but I don't think so.

Wow reading these I got a deal $450 with lights and everything in Los Angeles. I didn't even research prices, I went to a family friend who I really enjoy his work and said yes at his price thinking it was the normal price. Well I'm a lucky gal.

In the DC area and the price is about right. You got a good deal with the uplighting and fog machine.

I'm in Washington state and my DJ with uplighting is $500, but I'm sure it really depends on the area!

We searched extensively here, on The Knot and Thumbtack and bridal expos. Average DJ with no frills, reception only was $****. Ours is in the far suburbs, best deal we could get was $1000, minimal uplighting for dance floor only. So I think your package was a good deal.
