I know! I also have slightly different sized hands so I'd need 2 pairs that look exactly the same.

My mom wants to play her playlist for the reception.... its all songs you cant dance to and nobody even knows the songs, but since she claims shes paying for it, it will be done her way, the only song i can pick it our first dance song... what?!?!!

My family is DEAD SET that my reception needs to be on our family ranch. Mind you, it's 30 miles away from the nearest town (hotel) and does not have the proper accommodations for a wedding of this size (200). I tried to explain we'd have to rent a tent, dance floor, tables, chairs, etc. which will be more expensive than a venue, but they cannot get this idea out of their heads. Then they told me I needed to have a smaller wedding (I'm paying for it) and I could not do a taco bar because that's "tacky". My FH's mother told me I HAD to invite all of our wedding parties parents. I think not. I don't even know some of them! I would not waste the limited invites on that (when FH's family friends totals to almost HALF of the guest list). You take some of your, 'distant friends that you haven't spoken to in 10+ years' off the list and I'll add the wedding parties parents. UGH.

If they want to have your reception on the ranch, they're more than welcome to pay for it! I can't stand when my mom says "we need to invite so and so" either. Most of these people I haven't seen in years or just don't care to invite, so it's not a need.

Yeah, That's going to be a big fight with the family too because he agreed to wear a tux when he legit walked my sister down the aisle in a toby keith t-shirt and a pair of black jeans. Yeah.

My Godfather offered to crack a beer after we said "I Do" during our Catholic ceremony. I said, absolutely. We will see if he actually does it.
My Dad offered to drive me in the back of his F250 to the church. In the middle of winter.
I mean, we are a Wisconsin farm family so none of this shocks me.

Probably my FH's sister in law telling us we couldnt have our wedding this fall cause shes pregnant and "that just wouldnt do for them", his brother is one of my FH best men (hes using both his brothers)

We actually decided to do it next year but that royally annoyed us.
