I went to a wedding a couple years ago and the best man was wasted so he was rambling on about nothing. After letting him go on way too long, the bride's SIL (not in wedding party) stood up, clapped, then grabbed her drink and said "to the happy couple!". Everyone was so grateful to her for cutting him off lol

Our best man went on for what seemed like forever. I didn't time it, but he had a ton of stories and provided every detail (like: one time I went to their house on a Thursday for a Patriot's game...). My H said that it felt more like a roast of him than a toast. I was a little worried my face of annoyance would come through in our video and pictures, but I was able to hide it well.
