Tennessee and The Smoky Mountains

Hi everyone,

We have finally decided that the Smoky Mountains would be a great place to go for our honeymoon. We are both avid hunters and would love to go hunting in Tennessee/ North Carolina, along with relaxing and sight seeing. We have a full seven days for our honeymoon and are looking for more suggestions on things to when we would not be hunting.

    We are looking at cabins in Sevierville. We are thinking about going to both places actual.

    Sevierville is great! Depending on time of day, the traffic to get to Gatlinburg can be rough, so just plan that when you drive! There’s also a trolley you can take.
    In Pigeon Forge, we love visiting the Island. Tons of great bars, shops and restaurants. The jerky store is really cool. They also have some rides there.
    We love doing moonshine tastings in Gatlinburg—you can walk up and down the main strip and just pop into them. Anakeesta is pricey but really fun with great views.Some of our favorite restaurants are Junction 35 (where they have fun outdoor games like cornhole) and Alamo Steakhouse.There are obviously tons of hiking opportunities too!

    Warning do not book Smokey Mountain Entertainment. It is a scam. They take your deposit and do not show up! Wedding nightmare!
