Temperature for outside ceremony

This weather has been so weird this week in the 90s unusual for Connecticut and now Saturday will be 61 and my ceremony is outside . Is that to cold ?

Yay for CT brides! Are you getting married along the water where there might be a breeze? I would hope guests would bring a shawl if they think they will be cold for the ceremony, but I think you're covered if everything else is inside.

I've heard others on here say 65 is the cutoff to move it indoors. You need to assess your guest list and see if you have a high percentage of elderly - the cold will be more of a problem for them. Also check and see if it will be sunny during the time of the wedding or not.

It will be 61 around ceremony time and sunny . No elderly guests . Our venue has said that they don't suggest we move it inside since it's only ceremony and cocktail hour is indoors

It's been warm the past week here in the Tri-State area but @OP, weren't you going for a fall vibe anyway? Temps in the 60s is seasonal for CT and should have been what you were expecting.

If you're worried about chilly temps, you could buy a box of those cheap pashminas sold on every street corner in NYC.

I think I'll just trust adults to dress accordingly . If it gets colder I'll move ceremony indoors
