Tell us how your bachelor/ette party plans have been impacted

Jo, on June 15, 2020 at 2:16 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 10

We know that wedding celebrations are going to look and feel different as coronavirus restrictions are being lifted. This is not only true for ceremonies and receptions, but also pre-wedding parties.

If you've recently had a bach party or have one coming up, we want to hear from you. We’d love to hear about any changes you made, or are considering making — even if you’re still trying to figure it all out!

The survey will only take five minutes to complete and your feedback will be used to share tips and ideas with other couples.

Update - As of 7/1/2020 we have closed this survey. Thank you VERY much to everyone who participated! We would still love to learn from you so if you would like to tell us about how your bach party plans have been impacted please feel welcome to comment in this discussion.

Not a covid bride but i am MOH and we are still planning our bride's bachelorette and bridal shower for this august. however we have spoken about the possibility of things possibly not happening. but we did want to still plan for it as if they were just in case they really would happen.

i will probably bring up ways we could try to mitigate risks such as trying to make things low contact and how we can make serving food and stuff more safe

Still figuring it out, but was originally planning a whole weekend in the Wisconsin Dells but am now thinking of maybe just having a girls weekend at my house so we are not out amongst so many other people.

Even though Texas has opened up, cases are going up and hospitals are filling. So, as far as I know, my bride squad basically told me to be prepared to have post wedding festivities. We had a small ceremony last weekend, our "wedding" is scheduled for September and last I heard they are looking at November, Christmas or New Years for bachelorette and bridal shower activities. So, I'm down for whatever. If it doesn't happen, I will be sad like others have said, it feels we are being robbed of the whole bridal and wedding experience, but the circumstances are uncontrollable. I'll get over it.

My bachelorette party was supposed to be in May in Vegas. That obviously did not happen and won't happen Smiley sad However, I am very tied to my original wedding date of June 20, 2020, so FH and I are eloping and getting legally married on June 20 (this Saturday!)

Our wedding celebration will be October 16, 2020. I do still plan on having a bridal shower and bachelorette party in September. Since we won't be doing Vegas, we will be going to Palm Springs instead (I and most of my BMs all live in southern California). The bachelorette will be over Labor Day weekend.

We are in Texas! I'm MOH and my best friend is getting married end of July. We are having her Bachelorette Party in town. We are getting ready at Hotel Icon, eating dinner at Ninfas, and attending a Painting with the Twist class. Afterwards, we are going to bar crawl. I've talked to a lot of bars and everything is business as usual with less people. I'm hoping things will open up a little more within the next month!

Thank you so much! It was intimate and simple. Our wedding celebration will truly be the big day where we will exchange our rings and publicly declare our love for each other in front of our family and friends. ☺️

I won't be having an engagement party or a bridal shower for sure now thanks to COVID. My wedding date may be changed to sooner if we decide to postpone our big wedding in October and we elope instead, which is what we are leaning towards based on the recent info we got from our venue. If that is the case, we would get married in September probably which was exactly when I was supposed to have my Bachelorette. I think I will still be able to have my bachelorette pre wedding or maybe I will do not a "Miss to Mrs." party pre wedding but rather a "Officially Mrs." party after the wedding. My fiancé is having his Bachelor party the first week of Oct. and he told me he is going no matter if we got married early or not, as long as I still have some sort of party myself.
