That's sweet. I honestly didn't expect anything to happen in college. I had just got out the military at the time. We're 7 years apart so if I actually went and finished college right after high school, I dont know where I would be and we might have never met. I'm extremely grateful that we did.

My Fiance and I met on a bowling league. I had been eyeing him for a few weeks, to my friends he had become known as "the hott guy on my old dance teachers team". The night our team finally bowled each other, we talked all night and he gave me his number. Our first date was at a Halloween party at a local bar that we both already had plans to go before we even met. The next night after bowling he invited me over for dinner, and from then on we started seeing each other more and more, didn't go a day without texting. And on Christmas Eve, while crammed in my twin bed at my mom's house, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend... the way he put it was, since I'm spending Christmas at your mom's house we should probably make this official Smiley xd This Christmas Eve will be 6 years together.

Tell me your love story! 1 My fiancé and I met in 2013 when I was a senior in high school. He came to one of my school dances with another girl and I had a boyfriend at the time. We became friends and would see each other frequently with large groups of people. I ended it with my boyfriend at the time and we started dating shortly after I graduated. I didn’t think it would last as I was going away to school but every weekend he would drive 2 hours to come visit me. After 6 years together, he proposed to me in September of this year and we’ll be married in September 2021.

My grad school bf broke up with me and kicked me out of our apt...and for months I was couch surfing and going from temp job to temp job.

Within 2 weeks my life turned around when my friend said she was moving out of her apartment so I would need to find a new couch to sleep on. I also got a staff job at a small company so no more temp jobs!

I asked another friend if I could stay with him, which would be temporary until I made enough money to get my own apartment, and he said it was alright and that he didn't think his roommate would mind. I walked in to the apartment and saw his roommate (my FH) playing computer games and thought - MANNNN...he's cute.

I tried to muster enough courage to talk to him and drank a good amount of wine to help. I was pretty tipsy because I ended up dropping my wine on his computer as I tried to flirt. I was mortified, I thought he was going to be angry cause he was in a middle of a game. He definitely wasn't mad because we ended up having our first kiss that night!

We've been together for over 6 years. We've shared many milestones already like moving to a new city, moving to new places of employment and having to attend each others company holiday parties. We already share a house and a dog. He says that he already considers me his wife, but that he can't wait to share another milestone of making it official Smiley heart

We met at a pop-culture convention a buddy of mine ran. I was hanging out in a hotel room with friends and he came strolling in with boxes of chicken wings since he knew people were partying. (I love a man with a plan.)

We spent most of the weekend hanging out and enjoying the con. We lived two hours apart, but started texting every day and became close friends. Finally after 4 months of constant messaging, he asked me to come see him for his birthday and see how things went... We’ve been together ever since and I could not have asked for a more amazing husband. ❤️Tell me your love story! 2

Long story short. We were coworkers. I was talking about how I needed to go buy a drill. He messaged me on Facebook, asked if I would rather borrow his then buy one, came over to help me and basically never left! 😂❤

We were set up, and it was a meet-cute, too.

DH was in Hamlet, being directed by a friend of mine, who was also producing a series of one-acts I was in.

DH knew the writer and director of my show, and friend knew it... so friend asked DH to let us all into the theatre between Hamlet shows.

So, up I come to rehearsal, rocking my Phillies glitter tattoo (had just attended a game with my dad for a belated bday), and there's DH, sitting in front of an NYC theatre... in a Phillies shirt.

    ...Guh.

Me: "You're a Phillies fan, too? The Marlins are KILLING us right now!" (...This became a theme.)

DH: *promptly launches into baseball talk*

DH and me: *talk hard for 20 minutes, with one very brief interruption*
DH's college friend/my castmate, after I got confused over DH's age: "...How old did you want him to be?"

Me: "I was really hoping he was at least 25."

Castmate: "...Wait, how old are you?"

DH was 22. I had just turned 29.

Castmate, all of freshly 21: "...You're holding your own so well!" (She is NOT living that one down.)

Later, DH and castmate and myself walk towards the subway, I peel off towards mine... castmate starts absolutely shrieking with laughter. Apparently DH's face was that *hit by a frying pan* kind of look. And castmate probably could have told you then and there that we'd get married. (She was a groomswoman for him.)

I, on the other hand, was frantically texting my father and my best friend: "I just met the perfect guy, but there's a catch!"

    BF: "...Is he gay?"
    Me: "No."
    BF: "...Is he taken?"
    Me: "No."

BF: "What *bleep* is the problem?"
    Me: "He's 22!"
    BF: "Deal with it."

Met on a dating app at the end of February. Exchanged numbers at the end of March and started texting and never stopped. We met in person on April 28 and I can still vividly remember when I first saw him come around the patio corner. I just knew he was the one I wanted to be with for the rest of my life. We went hiking all morning and then to the mall for lunch. We spent like six hours together. Then he joined me for my birthday celebration the next week. We became a couple that night. Moved in with him in August. He's an amazing man as he not only accepted and loves me, but my baby daughter as well. He also lives in the same town that I lived in for several years before I moved back to my hometown so it's a small world. So I got to go back to work at my favorite store in my company (which is also the store I started at back in 2012). Our proposal was anything but romantic, but I don't care.

My FH and I were matched on eHarmony in January. I hadn’t just paid a 6 month subscription and he messaged me 2 weeks in (of course!). 😂. We had everything in common—religion, hobbies, family, common interests—but were also just different enough to make it interesting. We message back and forth for two weeks before he finally asked me out. Then our first date got snowed out! We went out a week later, meeting halfway because we lived 4 hours apart. When I arrived I introduced myself by my nickname instead of my legal name and got all flustered and thought “:&/&;!!;?! I’ve probably screwed this up already” which actually helped me relax. The first hour, we talked non-stop, and the waitress came over four times to try to take our order. 😄 he brought me a map of England and some guidebooks about England since he knew I was all about it, and I was smitten. The next day, I texted him what I hoped was a cool thank you and he asked what I was doing. I said I was bored at work and he said I could use my time to plan our second date. Smooth talker! Long story short, we’ve been together eve since. He moved in in June and we actually eloped in October per my wishes but he wants a big wedding, so that’s coming in May. I thank my lucky stars for him daily. He’s amazing. Definitely my best friend.

My fiancé and I met on my second day of my new job at a bank. I was sent to his branch for training. The first thing he said to me was, "You must be Jenn...you're late." 😂 About 4 months later we started dating after talking practically 24/7. Everyone thought we were nuts when we moved in together after 4 months of dating, but when you know you know. We will be together for 3 years in May and getting married in September!

Thank you! I think the fact we started as friends before dating has been huge for our relationship. I really did marry my best friend. ❤️

We met in college. We both ran for student government and ended up working together. I actually kind of hated him when we first met. I thought he was kind of full of himself. I got sick on a cruise for the student body and he sat with me on the side of the boat while I threw up and talked to me the whole time. We became really good friends after that. I ended up working that Thanksgiving and was going to miss dinner with my family. He made me an entire Thanksgiving dinner for just the two of us and I knew that I loved him. Later I went with him to his sister's wedding and he asked if he could kiss me and than we were dating and everything has just been uphill from there...
