Tell me your love story!

Met online, met up at a Starbucks, he was a bit late and I was not excited and thought he would look like a frog and hoped he would cancel. Ended up thinking he looks cute and we talked for 4 hours. In fact we met 7 years ago today.

My fiancé and I met when we were 13. We were friends and we had crushes on each other but never knew it. I went to a different high school. When we were 19 when we both turned the corner at the mall and locked eyes. We talked and caught up with each other, we were both in long term relationships. Two months later he breaks up with his gf, we reconnect again, start seeing each other for a few weeks. He wants more time to be single, my boyfriend wants to try and make it work. My (now) fiancé and I lose touch. Three years later I’m in college waiting tables, when a fellow waitress tells me to bring drinks to her table, sure enough it’s him. We lock eyes again, both shocked we ran into each other AGAIN. We strike up our friendship again. A few months later my ex proposes, I say yes, yet still can’t stop thinking about my (now) fiancé. Many things didn’t work out with my ex, yet the universe kept pushing me and my (now) fiancé together. Minus lots of gushy details, I ended it with my ex fiancé and my current fiancé and I are getting ready to finally be together for the rest of our lives 💞

My FH and I actually worked together for the same company for 3 years. We knew each other, but we were friendly and I was oblivious if he was into me! Then we got thrown onto the same project together as the leaders, and it was the project from some dark forbidden place. The client was terrible, the timelines were tight, and stuff kept breaking (we're software engineers). Basically, the only thing that got us through that was the times when after a meeting ended we'd both just end up staying after to gripe and grumble lol. Then he asked me out for Valentine's Day, and the rest is history. Didn't realize that my soul mate was working right next to me for three years, but it took just the right time for us both to open up to each other and realize that we both get each other and make a killer team!

View Quoted Comment Yeeeeah. We realized that if we can get through being under fire and stress like that and simply rally to support each other, we can probably get through anything. We've only been dating for 2 years and will be married in April, but for us it was like "when you know you know"

FH and I met in college. Had a class together and got placed in the same group for a project. I had a crush immediately. We started talking and hanging out more because of the project.


We found out about a movie that we both wanted to watch so I offered to have us go together and from that day forward, we went to the movies and hung out more often (as friends).
He invited me to his house parties and according to everyone in class, we were always in our own little world talking and laughing so they saw it before we did.

My fiancé and I met on Coffee Meets Bagel. I went on a string of terrible first and second dates, so I told myself if this date sucked too, then I would take a break for a while. Ended up going pretty well, and he asked me out again three days later. Our second date was something really special! We went out for six hours and couldn’t stop talking. We had so much in common but also came from such different backgrounds. I had never had a connection with someone like that so soon. Really crazy thing is he’s from Kansas, is going to medical school in Iowa, and decided to do all his clinical rotations in the area of Illinois I’m from and moved back to after college!! So I truly believe we were meant to meet, fall in love, and live the rest of our lives together. ❤️

Met at church. And literally from then on we talked 24/7. A couple months later we went out and since then it's just been nothing but happy aha. We were lucky to be able to marry at the same church we met.

My best friend Emily and her husband briar all wanted to go on a trip to the zoo with the kids and invited me at the time who had a boyfriend, not knowing briar invited his friend who works with him who is also now my FH and his girlfriend at the time went. At first I couldn’t stand them I don’t know why they didn’t talk . Well anyway we went on a couple trips together after that barley saying two words to each other . Then at my friend daughter birthday I found out he was single and started to flirt 🤣🤣, after that we hit it off became official .. I just knew he was the one 💕

FH and I met in college. I had strategically pick a spot to sit in class hoping no one would sit next to me. 30 seconds before class starts he walks in, looks around, then plops himself next to me. And the kid would not stop talking the whole class. Joke was on him though since I had bronchitis and had lost my voice, so I could hardly get out one word answers. After class, he asked me for my number to form a "study group" and I gave it to him. We've talked every day since.
