Tell Me About Your Honeymoon!

FH and I really wanted to go to Greece or back to Italy but since we are paying for the entire wedding ourselves we opted for a US-based honeymoon. We have been wanting to go to the Pacific Northwest (I'm from San Diego, he's from Chicago, currently living in Las Vegas) so we decided on Seattle! FH selected our venue, colors, and engagement photo location (I'm just as surprised as you are!) so he said I was in charge of the events/plans while we are there. We are definitely going to do the Starbucks Reserve tour, dinner at the Space Needle, the Seattle Great Wheel, a Dinner Cruise and explore the city. We will probably stay at an Airbnb downtown - they are surprisingly affordable. We are very excited!

We are heading to Northern Japan about a month after the wedding - we are planning to stay at a traditional ryokan with natural hot spring attached to the room for one or two nights and then hop around the area. We lucked out on a deal with points for our flights so even though we lose a day traveling there, we get to do it in first class!

My fiancé and I are planning on going to Australia! Then from Australia we will fly to Fiji for some time and New Caledonia. We might even head to Bali since the flights to Bali are extremely cheap in Australia! We’re planning on our honeymoon to be at least 3 weeks since we want to do some traveling. I’ve been to Australia multiple times but my fiancé hasn’t so I feel that it’ll be a great way to show him some beautiful places!

We're hoping to go to South America - Peru, Argentina, and Brazil. If not all 3, then just Peru would be good. Still working out the details.

I am going to Yellowstone National Park for mine! I am so excited! We are staying at a beautiful ranch in a private cabin with hot tub. There are horses we can ride and fishing right at the ranch! I cant wait!!!!!
