Tell Me About Your Honeymoon!

We're one of those weird Disney Couples... that I used to judge harshly. We're leaving right after work, heading to a hotel, hoping an early flight, Disney World for 5 days. Then off to our Disney Cruise to the Bahamas for 4 nights.

We're planning a week in Hawaii, specifically Oahu. I originally wanted the disney resort, but that's a lot of money. So we're staying at the hilton and sight seeing! It should be really nice with plenty of beach time and touring.

We have 2 trips planned in the first year of marriage and we are considering both of them our honeymoon. Shortly after we got married we went to an all inclusive resort in Maya Riviera for 10 days. This spring we are doing a more active 10 day trip to Iceland. We are going to do lots of hiking (a glacier hike, up Mount Esja and Glymur Waterfall) and stay in a few different cottages. We figure the 2 trips give us the best of an active sightseeing trip and just relaxing by a pool with drinks.

That sounds AMAZING. I'm not a mega disney fan but Disney world takes on a whole new light as an adult than it did when we were kids. I hope you have a great time!

View Quoted Comment Yep! We're staying at the nicer tower because we're treating ourselves a little bit. Plus it's close to the sight seeing we want to do. Yeah, the Disnet resort is INSANE. I couldn't justify 10k.

Hi! We are doing a 7 night Disney Alaskan cruise from Vancouver! We fly to Vancouver on Sunday and cruise from Monday to Monday. Then we will stay the night in Vancouver again then travel to Seattle for two days!

Hi! We are doing 10 days at an all inclusive resort in Jamaica

We are planning 6 days in Aruba. Still working out the details. But can’t wait

View Quoted Comment So this week, FH and I changed our minds regarding our honeymoon plans. So we’ll decide on a new location and new plans. Thankfully it’s not really a pressing matter since we’re not getting married until October. But I like seeing what others are doing as possible options for us.

We're doing a 12 day/11 night S. Caribbean cruise! 4/5 stops are places I hadn't been before and I couldn't be more excited!

My FH and i are planning a winter honeymoon to colorado! we have both never been and although we love the beach we are looking for some new and different experiences!

We are spending 4 days in Lisbon, Portugal and then a week in Tenerife, Spain!

We are planning to go to take a delayed honeymoon Italy in late September as July is pretty miserable for heat in Italy and we both hate being hot. We will take a few days immediately after the wedding in a nearby resort/lake town for some R&R.
