Tattoos and dresses

I have a fairly large tattoo on my arm and I will be adding lace sleeves to my dress, I don't think it looks weird. I'm not adding sleeves for the purpose of covering the tattoo though.

I have a large piece on my bicep. I have no intentions of covering it. If my two back pieces show, then they show. I'm going to pick a dress based on how it makes me feel, tattoos or no tattoos.

My dress is strapless i have a tattoo on each shoulder. Im bigger on top and don't care if they show.. I love my dress and thats all that matters

I have a pretty large shoulder blade tattoo and I loved that my dress showed it.

I've filled out my quarter shoulder wa sleeve since my wedding.....woulda loved to have it on display the day of my wedding tho!! I also have large back piece!

The other side...I think body art is an expression of those who choose to get it. Anyone close enough to you to invite to your wedding loves and knows you, so would not be judgemental or surprised to see it. Unless you had a piece done that you regret or don't like....that's understandable of course. :+)

I have seen women on say yes to the dress look for dresses that compliment their tattoos. Show them off and do whatever is comfortable

I have a tattoo between my shoulders and the lace basically hide it. The ones on my arms were uncovered.

I'm going with a lower/open back for that reason, both my tattoos have significant meaning, and the tattoos that the two people are for are going to be at my wedding so I didn't want to obstruct them

My dress shows my shoulder and forearm tattoos, but it isn't lace, it's just straight chiffon.

I have a full sleeve, and I did try some long sleeve dresses on. Although my tattoo peeking through did not bother me, I didn't find any sleeved dresses I loved. I went with a spaghetti strap low back dress, which shows my neck/back tattoos and my whole sleeve.

My sleeve is very dark and still isn't finished, but I am okay with that. I think it depends on how you feel with certain dresses and your tattoos. I honestly wasn't even looking at my tattoos when deciding on a dress.

I chose a dress that would show off as much of my ink as possible. I absolutely love the way my elegant gown softens my bold look. I can’t wait for my fiancé to see me!
