Tattoos and dresses

I don't have a chest or back tattoo, but I do have large rib cage tattoos on each side of me. My dress is lace and is not lined underneath on the sides of the dress. I'm happy that my tattoos are showing through the lace since they represent me and they're meaningful to me. I wouldn't worry about how other people look or their dresses, try on what you like and choose what dress you like and love how you look in the dress, tattoos showing or not.

I bought my dress to show my large shoulder tattoo! I'm having my hair pushed over to show it off as well. None of the lace will be covering it, though, and my dress is pretty simple.

Obviously I won't be wearing a black bra and the lace is being altered as we speak.

Ugh love tattoos and lace. I vote pick the dress you love, your tattoos will look great!

Rock those tattoos in whatever you feel beautiful in. I personally feel that tattoos are a part of who you are and I picked a dress that would photograph well with my back tattoo. It's just a saying but I thought it was so meaningful when I got it I thought "if I ever get married I want a dress to compliment this". Sounds kinda odd but all of my tattoos I thought long and hard about so no way am I covering them up with makeup or anything like that. I think lace covering up portions is fine however.

I have no issue with them being visible, I love them very much. I just wasn't sure if I would like how they looked with lace over them, but I like dresses with lace a lot. I guess it comes down to me trying on some and seeing what I like myself in! I'm excited about my getting married and I want to know everything now, but I have plenty of time to shop around! Thanks guys!

I have tattoos on my chest and back, I absolutely love them with my dress!! My dress doesn't have lace, it's strapless, but my tattoos are part of who I am, I love showing them off. Do what makes you feel beautiful

If you worried about it I've been talking to some makeup people who say they can actually cover it with Foundation

I have one of my shoulder and didn't give it a second thought. I would say pick the dress you like and don't worry about it.

I don't have back tattoo but I do have a full sleeve and alot of tattoos on my other arm .. I plan to buy a long sleeve lace dress .. and I have a big chest I'm going to try not to focus on my tattoos .. and just buy what I like .. I can't take them off lol so

I have a large back tattoo I also have a smaller one on the front of my shoulder.... I didn't think anything about my tattoos when picking a dress... the tattoos are apart of who I am and I'm not gonna hide them... I think tattoos look great with all dress it will all depend on what you want and what you are comfortable with

I have tattoos on my back and I'll be showing them. I love it. My veil hides them a bit but it looks great IMO

My dress is strapless and I have one on my upper back. I don't plan on covering it.

I'm considering airbrush makeup to cover my large back tattoo as I think it will take away from the beauty of the dress. I just don't want the judgement from conservative family on my wedding day.

I have a full shoulder piece and I wanted lace. I discovered that I needed a strapless dress because, in my opinion, having lace straps or sleeves over my tattoo felt to busy. So I'm proudly showing off my tattoos with a strappless. But my dress is not simple. You don't have to go simple because you have tattoos. Do what makes you happy!! FH lol so this is the only pic I allowed myself to have on my phone it has grey stripes with lace overlay and I'm COMPLETELY OBBESED!

It came with a sash with the same striped but I'm not going to wear it, im going to get a bow tie made for my FH!
