I'm fine with covering up my tattoos for someone else's wedding, but I'll be damned if I'm covering them up for mine. I have a tattoo on my upper arm of a phoenix that I want showing at my wedding. I have another tattoo on my calf, but that won't be visible because my dress is floor length.

My back tattoos will be showing. I didn’t think much of it when I got my dress and then panicked and mentioned to FH that they’ll be showing and asked if he wanted me to cover them with makeup. He doesn’t have any, nor does his family. He told me he would never ask that I cover them because they have a lot of meaning to me and are apart of who I am. My MOH and both bridesmaids have very visible tattoos and my MOH and one bridesmaid has facial piercings. Both offered to remove them but I told them no.

I have one on my back and several on my arms (and will be getting a few more before the wedding) so they will all be showing! My FW also has several arm pieces that depending on what she wears (she keeps changing her mind lol) will be showing.

Meeeee!!! I love my tattoos and I wouldn't dare think of covering them 🤟🏾 I had someone say that exact thing to me and I couldn't believe them...like get out of here lady. Actually just added a new piece 3 weeks ago and I have another appointment in 2 weeks, currently working on a mini sleeve! 14 and counting!!! Brides with tattoos rule!

I am so here for my fellow tattooed brides!!! Here is my dress!!! I went in thinking I’d want to hide most (3/4 or long sleeves and a boat neck) but I actually ended up falling in love with this dress!!!! I’m not embarrassed of my tattoos or anything, I just thought they would compete with my dress and look “busy” but that wasn’t the case!!! (At least I didn’t feel that way!) Even my mother loved the way it looked hahah and she has major opinions on my tattoos.

Oh boy! My mother would say things to me alll the time!!! She would say “ ugh how are you guna get married , your guna look hideous in your gown!” Or my favorite is “ you’re guna scare your children!” .. i then responded “ uhm im sorry what children?! I do not have children !” Lol also she said what are u guna do when you’re old with these tattoos, my response-“ i dont be fabulous?!” Lol
So yea, im showing mine and im allowing my moh ofc show hers off lol

I am not one to really go with the “ norm “ or traditional lol i also have microdermals and i get to hear about that from my mom as well hahaha she thinks im taking my septum ring out too lol 🤦‍♀️ I was like why would i try to look like a different person on my wedding day ?! I am trying to grow my hair back out because i was basically bald i had a bright blue mohawk but wore it down and floppy lol


Im obsessed with looking at bridal photos of brides with tattoos i just think majority of them are absolutely adorable ugh 😍❤️ Or the brides when they lift their dresses up and are wearing super cute edgy shoes or boots ugh i love it!

I just love unique wedding parties - whether it be tattoos, body mods, colored hair, unique attire, etc. I’m always looking at alt wedding Instagram pages too! These are some of my faves, if you don’t already follow them!...
