My good friend recently got engaged and I am going to be a bridesmaid for her in 2013. I haven't brought up the subject to her yet, but I was going to ask if she preferred that I cover my tattoos. By the end of next year, both of my shoulders that are already partially done will be completely covered (this is NOT an option to wait on because I want them finished for MY wedding pictures, in which they will not be covered) and I have a few on my upper back as well. Obviously, she knows they exist and I know it's considered "tacky" to ask a girl to be your bridesmaid and then expect her to cover up existing work, but I fear that she wouldn't just not ask me because of them but she still might not really prefer to have them in her pictures. Or, perhaps her family members might not like it. Either way, I honestly wouldn’t care and I love her and want her day to be perfect so I would be MORE THAN happy to cover them up for her if she wanted me to.

Try skin illustrato,r pros use it. It's alcohol activated and won't rub off. Haven't tried it personally just yet, but it was recommended by a friend who does costume makeup for movies

I don't know if anyone has already said this but double wear maximum coverage covers tattoos completely... I have one on my foot that I had to cover up once and it was amazing... i didn't even need that much... I also use that make up for my face... flawlessSmiley smile
