Tapered candles

Perla, on February 12, 2020 at 11:30 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 3
I wanted to have tapered candles but my venue does not allow open flames. What do y’all think about having the candles placed on the tables just for decoration? Or should I buy the LED tapered candles? I really don’t need the light, it’s in doors and well lit. I just really like the look.

I actually had candles as my centerpiece inside a jar and they weren't lit. So I think it's ok if it's just for decor

I’d try to find LED candles that look realistic. I’ve seen really nice ones. But I’d find it odd to see multiple candles on a table & none of them lit.

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Perla Smiley smile

I’ve seen couples use unlit candles and LED candles in their centerpieces and both can totally work. It’s all about what your preference is! As a guest, do you think to see unlit candles would look odd? Personally, I wouldn’t!
