Tan line panic

Dana S., on May 2, 2016 at 6:49 PM

I did not realize today how much sun I have gotten till I went for my dress fitting. My cousin sent me the pic and now I am in a panic. I need to tan in my upper arms and in my chest area. Should I go to the tanning bed I don't want to get the other areas darker than the other.

Of course it's not great for you but going for a month is not going to cause issues. Self tanners are not going to be able to help that much and the chance of making it look worse is a big issue.

You've obviously been out in the sun in the first place so that's a chance of skin cancer too lol

Spray tan if you want to even out. Real tan/tanning will just make it worse. A good airbrush tanner will be able to blend everything.

Shit they can spray tan abs on! They can totally even out lines. But like PP said, go to a place where a person sprays you, not a booth.

Like Page said, if you go in a tanning bed EVERYTHING will get darker. It won't even out the lines.

It has been proven that even tanning in an indoor bed ONCE can increase risks of skin cancer dramatically, soooo..... ya, I wouldn't do it for a month anyway and think you are safe.

If you want the lines to be evened out definitely have a spray tanning artist go at you with an airbrush. Hopefully it will fade a lot in the next month though Smiley smile

    Spray tan 1000%

A bed could make it worse... also it's much much worse than natural sun. It's also a high amount of radiation... just don't

I'm super worried about this happening to me too. A couple of weekends ago it was finally warm here and I spent a few hours outdoors - I now have lovely tan lines on my feet from my TOMS shoes!
