Tall Centerpieces- Rental

Sunny, on June 7, 2010 at 5:35 PM Posted in Planning 0 18

Has anyone rented tall centerpieces? Where did you get the tall vases? Did you go through a rental company or did your florist provide this?

I'm in the process of trying to find this for my wedding. Here's a picture of what I would like ideally...

My florist had some glass vases to rent but she didn't have anything like that... I would guess to check a rental company. what about your venue? one venue i looked at had candle stick things that were tall you could rent...

I recommend using your florist for the vessel. Most won't actually "rent" them to you but build that into the cost of the centerpiece - so you're likely not to notice. If you plan to have a florist do the flowers - this is your best bet - they will also secure the centerpiece in place and make sure it's not too heavy, etc.

My FMIL bought them up one at a time from Micheal's using the weekly coupon. They weren't like the one in your picture, but they might have something similar.

I found out my florist had nice tall vases (I'm doing very tall centerpieces), and she was going to let me use them for free as long as I let her do the arrangements! But before that, I researched some rental companies and found that buying them wasn't that much more. I really like saveoncrafts.com! Great site, lots of stuff on there! Smiley smile

I found a florist that has them. I'm hoping she works out and isn't super expensive.

    I never thought about Michael's...

My venue doesn't have any centerpieces or anything to rent for that matter. We even have to bring in our own linens, etc

Your florist usually supply them we just had a sample of ours made up and they just include it in the price , just keep in mind your guest don't walk out with themthey aren't cheap but well worth every penny for the drama they create when you enter the ballroon

I am doing combo tall and short. My florist has all the items but they can be rented from most event rental companies.

Try DFW Vases http://www.dfwvases.com/ They have 18inch cylindar glass vases for $75 for a case of 12. They ship but if you live in the Dallas area, they are located in Carrollton.

Im going with 24" "eiffel tower vases" and the top that inserts into it that holds the foam to hold flowers. you can search for this on amazon for the best price.
