Wedding details
My FH and I met junior year of high school at a party. We talked all night and then didn't talk again because I just never saw him around. Then one of my friends started a job when we were seniors, and invited some of her new work friends to hang out with us one night. My FH was one of them, and that connection we had was back! From that point on, we were almost inseperable. After high school, my FH decided to join the military and I went away to college. He wrote me 6 letters the night before he left, which he then had his mom send me, one at a time, for 6 weeks until he was done with the beginning stage of boot camp and could write me. I wrote him every day to the point where it embarrassed him, but just felt like the distant relationship was worth it. But we were too young and going in such different life directions that by the end of my freshman year in college, we had broken up. He felt he was holding me back from experiencing college, and while I didn't, we ended it after my freshman year and didn't speak for 6 years. Then one day I bought a computer after being without one for awhile (I know, almost unheard of these days but it's true, no computer!) I had spoke with my FH on-line a lot back when we were dating since, me being a poor college student and him being many states away, the phone bills got a little crazy. So for the first time in years, I signed onto my old AOL account. About 10 minutes later, I nearly peed my pants when he signed on too. I didn't know what to say as we hadn't spoke in years, but my FH just said "Hello there" and we started talking like nothing changed. Both of us had very serious relationships in the time since we last spoke, but secretly, we had also both been searching for each other. I was so excited to have him back in my life, although he was still in the military and not living in the state. Then in June 2006, I attended my FH's cousin's college graduation party. I told my FH I would say hi to his parents and everything since my FH told me he couldn't come home for the party because he was on duty. But when I walked in, there he was! Just standing there waiting for me after 6 years. We instantly connected yet again. From that point on, he completed his time with the military, moved back to WI, and we've been together ever since. It wasn't until we were asked the first time how we ended up back together that I realized the night I signed onto my AOL account was also the first night in many years that he had done so as well. It was too unbelievable to be coincidence! I can't wait to finally begin out lives together as husband and wife...Almost 12 years from the day this all began :)

2496 days agoIt amazes me how everyone loves to tell the bride and groom what to do in regards to their wedding. I have a two tiered viel that I want to double as a blusher. My mom likes the idea and my father hates it. I nearly gave my aunt a heart attack with...
