Just be careful - low fog, which is what you’re talking about here, is either chilled smoke from a smoke machine (it’s the chilling which makes it stay close to the floor) or dry ice (solid carbon dioxide dumped into very hot water). If it’s chilled smoke, it can leave a slippery residue on the floor as the fluid used to make the smoke re-condenses; if it’s dry ice, it can leave water on the floor. You don’t want to slip over in the middle of your first dance! Ask the DJ if it’s chilled smoke or dry ice, and if he doesn’t know what you’re talking about and says it’s just a smoke machine, avoid because a regular smoke machine will just fill the room with fog, meaning no one can see you, not hang low to the ground which is what you want. (Theatre technician who deals with smoke and fog a lot here!)

I used to think that this would be an awesome idea, and I think you can definitely do it and be tasteful if you’re having a Disney wedding. But I was at a wedding last year where the bride and groom had their first dance to Once Upon a Dream from Sleeping Beauty (FYI this is also my childhood favorite Disney princess and one of my favorite Disney songs so I actually have thought of using this song before at my wedding) but it was so tacky and terrible. Maybe it was because their wedding had no other Disney aspects. It just felt so forced like the groom had no choice whatsoever (my FH was in the wedding and the bride was a bridezilla to the max, she basically let her husband and his family have no say in anything). So just keep in mind that it can be cheesy, but if you love it then go for it!

I think it's tacky but it's not my wedding. Do what makes you happy.

I’m having little hints of Disney fairytales at my wedding too! I think it’s a cute idea!

I vote yes!! Maybe try to only use it for the first dance though and then shut it off so it doesn't bother any guests with respiratory issues.
