I love themes and I'm a Disney person. Do it! Do it! I want a fog machine but it for a different theme for me. When are you ever going to have another chance to dance with a fog machine?

Not for me, but if you like it, do it. Just be prepared for people to either love it or hate it.

If YOU love it and it honestly would mean a lot to you, then do it. Best advice I can give is: someone is always going to be bothered. I actually saw a first dance done with a fog machine and it looked really cool!

I’ve worked with fog machines before, so make sure you (or your dj) is paying attention to the space. Does your reception venue have an hvac system that comes on automatically? It can suck all the fog out almost instantly and completely ruin your fun.

Also fog fog will go to the place where the most people are, so be prepared for it to gravitate to your guest, particularly if they are all on one side of the room.

I like the idea specially if it’s going to make it more special for you!! Just a little fog is enough. We are actually dancing “a whole new world” with our kids as a family dance instead of mother/father dances. And I like the fog idea however our venue doesn’t allow it.

DO IT!!!!! There are ways to have very elegant Disney themed weddings. I am having a beauty and the beast themed wedding in October 2018! My colors are royal blue and gold with hints of red. Aww this sounds lovely. On top of the fog, can you add a pink and blue spotlight that dance around you both? Wouldnt that really capture the essence of THE GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME

It's what you always wanted, so do it!!! The wedding is a reflection of you are your FH, so do what makes you two happy!! It will be beautiful.

I think it will definitely be a cool effect and probably make for beautiful pictures, but I agree with b11... fog machines always bother me breathing-wise and I don't even have asthma. They have a sorta musty smell that hurts my lungs and makes me cough.
Maybe if they are able to kinda give you a little preview to see how you and FH will feel being around it??

Not only are fog machines asthma (and any other breathing issue) triggers, they smell terrible.

Not all fog machines smell. Do your research and you can get one that is non-smelly and non-toxic.

I think this is one of those ‘looks good on paper’ ideas tbh. If you have any asthmatics in the crowd, this could be dangerous. Pretty, but dangerous.
