Tables and Displays

Samantha, on May 20, 2019 at 8:36 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4
Finalizing our rentals and am trying to figure out tables. I have a 4ft table for our cards and guest book display. But I wonder if it’s enough room (or if it’d be weird) to include our seating chart on this table or get an additional 4ft table for that.

Also, I have a 4ft round table and wonder if I should get a 6ft for dessert display - for reference we will have 5 (10 in size) cake stands with grooms cake, wedding cake and whoopie pies. The wedding cake stand will be propped on a small suitcase.

I think it will be big enough but I don’t want it to be crowded nor do I want a bunch of empty space since not much else is going on this table.

Thoughts????

I guess it depends on your seating chart display, but 4 ft doesn't seem large enough to me for a seating chart, card box, guest book, and if anyone decides to bring a physical gift. I would probably go with a second table for the seating chart. 4 ft seems sufficient for the dessert table.

I think that might be too small we are using a 4 ft as our table everything else is a 10 ft but that’s what our venue has

I think adding more space for the seating chart would be a good idea. If you have a traditional guestbook, that would fit fine with seating chart. I think. Depending on the size.
I assume that would take up the whole table and you might want another 4 ft table for cards and if someone brings an actual gift.

    Hi Samantha!

The first table for the cards and guest book, how big is the seating chart you want to pop on to it? It is quite large? If there isn’t enough room, you could source something alternative to display it on, such as an easel.

When figuring out if you will have enough space on the dessert table, do you have a piece of chalk, or thread, you could use to measure out all the dimensions on the floor and see if everything will fit in the space? This method could help you be more confident choosing between the 4ft and 6ft table!
