Table Names?

Are you guys doing anything fun for naming your tables? We're naming each one after a band we've seen together, and using album art in the seating chart. I'm super excited about it! It's also a great way to get more of our relationship into the day since live music is such a big part of our lives....

We don't have a 'theme' per se but my FH is an avid Jeeper. I'm hoping to find Jeep themed table numbers. I've been looking on Etsy but only cake toppers, which I have already purchased!

Thank you, I hope it all comes together they way I’m envisioning! I’ve got lots of DIY projects to tackle over the next year.

Maybe name the tables after different models of Jeeps? Like Rubicon, Patriot, Liberty....? Idk if that’s too much for you.

Same here lol. We have "girls (bridesmaids and dates)", "guys (groomsmen and dates)", "people who give us money (parents)", "fun aunts and uncles", "cousins we never see", "shore friends (my friends from college)", and "nerds (his friends)"

Oh, I'm not saying I'm not either, but I specifically have these group of people together because I know all they'll talk about is D&D and video games.

We are naming each table a place or region we want to visit! Then each placecard at the table will have one of 10 things we want to see/do in that place! Smiley smile

We're doing subtle touches of A Princess Bride, and one of the ways we're incorporating the theme is through table names. Each table will be named after a character. Also doing table numbers as well to make it easier on our guests and seating chart.

We're just doing regular table numbers, but I designed and made the table numbers myself in Photoshop so I'm proud of them. Just got them printed out last weekend and they look so nice!

We're incorporating our nerdness in small ways throughout the wedding. I'm a huge Doctor Who fan, so our table numbers will be each of the Doctor's regenerations and then companions. I'm putting fun facts about each one on the back.

We're Disneyphiles, and had our Honeymoon at Disney World, so we named the tables after Disney Couples (Mickey & Minnie, Cinderella & Prince Charming, Aurora & Prince Stefan, etc.)

We have a literature theme going with our wedding so I will have table markers but not exactly to tell people where to sit but to have to read as it’s an E.E Cummings quote!

We spent quite some time in secondhand bookstores looking for copies of the books we wanted to use so that we didn't lose our own copies! I did buy a couple new (just couldn't find them secondhand) but on the whole it wasn't expensive, particularly as they were doing double duty.
