Table decor for buffet dinner ??

Alyssa, on June 20, 2019 at 9:53 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5
Hey guys! We are having a local restaurant cater our reception and they provide plates and utensils but it is a fancy plastic plate. Do you think this is sufficient? I really don’t want to spend the extra money on nicer plates if it’s not necessary. Who will remember the place the plates anyways LOL

Your fine. Our caterer asked us if we wanted china or fake china. We asked what the difference was and she said the fake china is upscale plastic. We went with that. Don't worry about those details. No one will remember what plates you used.

We are using plastic nice plates. We are having a taco bar. I like mine & I have cut corners as many ways as I can. It shouldn't matter to anyone. I ordered them on Amazon.

Wow I can't believe I hadn't thought about this yet in terms of my own wedding. I agree with those above, no one except you will remember the plates. Just make sure you like the look of them, and that's all that matters.

We just attended a friend's wedding and they used eco-friendly plates and silverware. They looked like wood grain plates and were pretty. Maybe you can ask to see a sample so you will know how they will look. Honestly, in my opinion, as long as they don't look like cheap paper plates from the dollar store, I wouldn't care if they were plastic.
