Sweetheart table?

Sweetheart table for us! It honestly makes the most sense to me as I don't want our wedding party to not sit with their significant other. My MOH is married to one of the groomsman and our other groomsman has a wife and young daughter coming. It just made the most sense and I'm selfish and want my FH to myself for a bit.

I'm going to tell the venue and the DJ not to bother us until we are done eating. I know a LOT of people said they never got to eat or have their cake. I refuse to let that happen. We are paying waaay too much money for this and it's about me and him anyway. Everyone else I can see some other time or chat a different day. Of course we will go around and say hi and chat, but they can leave us alone while we eat.

Yes we are doing a sweetheart table but also having our 2 young daughters sit with us as well. We like this idea and we don't want our kids to be away from us during dinner. We're a unit.

We had a sweetheart table and even though we were barely there (holy crow does the day fly), it was nice to have dinner alone and not be bombarded every 5 seconds while we were eating, especially since you will be the rest of the night.

We are doing a Kings table where our wedding party can sit with us and their dates sit at the "head table" as well. It's going to be one long table with FH and myself sitting next to each other and our wedding party going out from our sides with their dates sitting across from them.
