We will have a sweetheart table. This is one place we can enjoy a few minutes together while we eat (even if people are stopping by to say hi or congratulations)

Sweetheart table 100%!! My fiancé had a horrible experience at a previous wedding when his ex was in the wedding party (this was years before we met). He was all alone most of the night while she fulfilled her duties at the head table. He was very opinionated about not wanting to recreate his horrible experience for our wedding party.

We’re having a sweetheart table, everyone in our wedding party is either married or in long term relationships, so it would be nice if they’re able to sit with their spouses.

Head table. We don't like the idea of isolating ourselves at the reception. We want our wedding party of 8 to feel very comfortable by the time the big day arrives, and we've already gotten them together a couple of times to ease any stress caused by unfamiliarity.

Sweetheart table. It will give us a few moments to enjoy a couple semi private moments. Tables 1 & 2 will be for the bridal party and their families so they are still upfront with us.

I like head table much more because you get to include everyone in your day!

We thought about having a head table, but thought it would look ridiculous and miss the point to have all 24 of our wedding party plus their dates up there (of course we'd never separate couples!) with us, so we opted for a sweetheart table. perfectly fits our vintage romantic theme!

They're standing up there with you already during the ceremony, plus taking pictures during cocktail hour. Knowing our wedding party, they'll have been in the spotlight enough and just want to enjoy dinner with their date or spouse and family (our wedding is family-friendly)

That's what we're doing too. plus the other tables closest to ours will be parents, siblings and grandparents and their families.

Neither! We are having 3 reserved tables. We will sit with our parents and grandparents at one table, and the two other tables are for our siblings with space for us to come have a drink or dessert with them. That way we can spend time with our close family, since we will be busy and with guests for the majority of the reception.

I'm against sweetheart tables bc they tend to be small. But we opted for one but slightly larger. Then 2 estate tables for party and their partners
