Super late wedding gift

Blank, on December 25, 2019 at 2:30 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4
This is going to sound terrible, but I never sent a wedding gift to a relative . The wedding happened almost 2 years ago now. I was incredibly lazy about it due to dealing with other personal stuff. And now, we’re coming up on their 2nd anniversary and feeling awful. I’d like to still something but wondering if too much time has passed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated .

I would find it super odd to receive a wedding gift 2 years after my wedding.

Um maybe just do it as a belated christmas gift thats a lil more expensive than you would normally send?

I think it would be sweet to send a gift. Just write a little note and say, "hey, I was dealing with some personal issues when you got married and was not able to celebrate your marriage with a gift. Today, things are better and I am so proud of your commitment to one another." Okay. It doesnt have to say that specifically but you get the idea lol

Send a gift with a vague apology for tardiness and warmest congratulations.
