I just got an Etsy order this week and realized the rings would be perfect "alternative wedding bands" for those of us who want to have durable, inexpensive alternative bands to wear when we don't want to worry about losing or damaging our "real bands."
They're made of resin containing little flakes of metal. She makes them with colored resin or clear, all different types of metal, and either smooth or faceted finishes. I noticed that the blue ring I got happened to perfectly match my e-ring's blue sapphire, and the artist happily agreed to make a custom ring with copper flakes to better match my rose gold bridal set- so excited!
I've always found the silicone rings to be a little too sporty for my style, so I wanted to share in case there are other brides like me who want a little more sparkle or flair with their alternative band
I'd also totally love to see other brides' alternative bands!
