Sunday Wedding in March in Texas Start Time?

We had a 5 hour Sunday wedding... our ceremony started at noon and reception ended at 5. It was great honestly because no one was worried about being tired for work and even our out of town guests had the opportunity to fly back Sunday evening and not miss any of the wedding or miss any work.

How far will your out of town guests have to travel? Will they have to travel home on Sunday night after the wedding?

They’ll all be traveling roughly 1,600 miles or a 3 hour flight in either direction. This is close family though, we think that people who are family but aren’t really close to us won’t come due to the distance which we are fine with. So the people that are coming would likely ask for the day off on Monday. They’ll most likely arrive into town Friday night or Saturday morning so leaving Monday morning most would only be there 48 hours.
If we lived in Texas and it was only an hour drive home for everyone we definitely would considering a 12pm-5pm wedding to be considerate, but considering everyone is flying in a nice wedding with a nice dinner, music and dancing.

If your guests will not be leaving town until Monday, then a 4PM start sounds perfect!
