Summer Wedding - Hair down?

So I generally always wear my hair down...I've been in several weddings and generally go with a half up half down with curls. I always said when I get married my hair will be down or half up half down...I am getting married in August so obviously going to be hot. I am trying to talk myself into an up do but I keep running across so many pretty down hair style pics that I cant make up my mind. Is anyone planning on wearing their hair down or are all summer brides going with up do?

I will be having mine down and curled then putting it up for the reception. I have long, thick hair as well but I don't like my hair up. I work with kids so I usually have it in a bun.

My wedding us in July in Houston, so up it goes! I have very thick hair that gets fluffy in humidity so I'm not taking any chances that my hair will look like a cotton ball on my wedding day. Plus I don't want it sticking to my neck. You know how your hair best. Does it ever bother you in summer?

I almost passed out from the heat during our ceremony. If it had been on my back i would have had to stop the ceremony to get it up

Idk what to do either...my wedding is in June. thankfully the ceremony and reception is indoors, the last thing i want to do is sweat my makeup off. I do want to put a brooch in my hair. idk maybe parted to the side to show off my earrings..

Do whatever makes you feel most beautiful. I personally will do an up-do. I always wear my hair down so I wanted it to be different. I'm also getting married in the summer and I'm afraid of sweating lol or my hair going flat. Hope you find the right style for you. Congratulations!
