Suggestions needed for thin/fine hair...

I have thin/fine, shoulder-length brown hair and I don't really know what to do with it. It's not exactly baby-thin... but still thinner than a lot of peoples' hair. It's genetic so it's always been like that, and I've always had trouble with it. I definitely can't do a down-style as it falls flat really quickly, and wind will blow it into a mess. So an up-style it is.

I'm looking on the internet for hair styles and all I see is people with gorgeous luscious thick hair (so jealous!).

Does anyone else have this problem? What are you doing with your hair? Suggestions would be appreciated!

Note - I'm not too keen on extensions or anything like that which could damage my hair (it's hard enough trying to keep it from breaking as it is)

@Celia - curly hair only suits me if it's half up or fully up. Otherwise I feel like it's really not me. But thanks for the suggestion.

@Future Mrs. Setlock - I'll take it!!! It'll get rid of my anxieties that one day I'll hardly have any hair left... Seriously I'm constantly paranoid about it. My mum has really thin hair (about half of what I have) and I'm petrified that I'll end up the same.

Nel: Thank you!! They were something that one of my girlfriends had suggested because I've always been really self conscious about my hair being so fine. I was really leery at first because I didn't want to rip my hair out or mess it up, because it breaks very easily, so I spoke with my the manager at my salon and she suggested getting real human hair clip-in's (NOT synthetic, because they can apparently melt under heat and such, and they don't look as nice), so I went to Sally's Beauty Supply and spoke with one of their ladies, who pointed me in the direction of Euronext Hair Extensions. I bought the 18" in dark brown to match my hair color and it was SPOT ON! My bridal ladies were the only ones who knew I was wearing them, because they were with me at the salon!

I can't tell you how many times I was told how beautiful my hair was...it was really awesome because I never hear that... Smiley winking

Here's a few other pictures to show you different angles! Smiley laugh

Those are really nice photos Mrs. Katie J! - it really does look like you have a lot of hair at the back. I'll keep in mind to get real hair extensions if I decide to get any. Thanks!
