(subtle) ideas for a Star Wars Day wedding

When picking our date, I knew I wanted a Saturday sometime in 2019.. and lo and behold, May 4th is on a Saturday. I proposed that idea to FH, and he loved it as well. For those who don't know, May 4th is Star Wars Day (May the fourth be with you, get it?). I'm trying to think of some really little things we can do to incorporate that into the wedding, like a tounge-in-cheek thing. I don't want it to be overly distracting.

When FH and I got our engagement photos done in Disneyland, we picked up a pin set (pictured below) that we'll be wearing somehow on the big day. Any other ideas?

I'm surprising FH with death star cufflinks. And I bought him a wooden card for our dating anniversary/Valentine's day that is engraved with the death star and "I love you to the death star and back." We might put that somewhere in the venue. On the welcome table maybe. Oh and I bought him this card: https://www.etsy.com/listing/573775612/star-wars-personalised-card-you-are-the?ref=shop_home_active_11. I plan on having his BM give him this card with the gift I'm getting him.

Seriously an awesome idea I would look on Pinterest for more ideas! With the pins that you bought I think it would be cool to hook it on to your bouquet and maybe his boutonniere.

Love all of these ideas. I have one single kid left, 22 yo son. If you could see his Star Wars ornament collection on our Christmas tree you would be impressed. Our tree spins and he has a larger glass ornament of the SW logo. It goes at eye level so it is never missed and if he could figure out how to que up the SW theme to play everytime it was coming to the front of the tree he would. Quite a bit of money has been spent on Hallmark ornaments. When he moves out his tree will be epic and mine will need some new ornaments, which is ok.

May the 4th here as well! My cake topper will probably be the “I love you, I know.” My dress is black so I’m walking down the aisle the imperial March, https://youtu.be/aQ3poU70uIE I really like this version.
