Style Showdown: Greenery or Flowers?

I am LOVING that green weddings are a trend now! I'm not much of a flower girl and I like more monochromatic color schemes.

I love both! We are having both! Lots of christmas tree cuttings and eucalyptus for our greenery and then a hodgepodge of flowers in the mix!

Hi Whitney! That's true, flowers are definitely a statement for weddings as they are almost traditional to incorporate!

That's great, Jessica! I love your floral and greenery vision! Are you incorporating a lot of decor elements for the christmas and winter theme?

I have always wanted white flowers but decided greenery in March would be much less expensive and on trend. But then a friend did greenery. And she also did navy blue bridesmaids (I am too). AND we have the same ring. Great minds, right? So I switched back to white flowers. Cost about twice as much - whoops! But there will be some green mixed in by leaving natural leaves on hydrangeas and etc.

Not really. The wedding is in our backyard, so we are keeping it super simple.

Peonies and dahilas will be more featured in our decor for the ceremony and reception, but for my bouquet, I just picked out flowers I thought were pretty without figuring out what kinds of flowers I wanted. All that matters to me for my bouquet is that the colors are ivory, blue, and a little pink!

For our decor however, we'll be paying more attention to what kinds of flowers we'll choose along with color. Just so that everything is matching! I LOVE this dahila centerpiece, and I would definitely consider something like this for each guest table!
