Stuck between two color swatches-help

Kay, on February 10, 2021 at 2:42 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10

Hello, i have been stuck between two different colors for a while now and have finally decided to come here for some advice. I am getting married in October so it'll be Fall.

My original color scheme has always been Terracotta and greenery.

now im leaning more towards a Cinnamon Rose and greenery.

Everyone thinks they will both look good with greenery and i agree with this but when i ordered color swatches from Azazie originally it looked very dark, then i ordered another color swatch from Birdy Grey and it looks peachy to me in person but i think for pictures its pretty true to the theme and colors im shooting for. So i started looking at Revelry and i love their cinnamon rose but hoping it doesn't look too dark. My photographer is a darker, richer, and moody editing style if this helps. I want to stay away from anything that looks orange, peach, or loud. I would perfer a neutral soft tone. I like both of these colors alot. I think one looks lighter and one just looks slightly darker. The Guys will be wearing blue/navy. If i could get some thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm a fan of both colors and I feel like they would both look nice with navy. Its super hard for me to tell the difference on my computer, they both look similar to me.

Whichever you pick will look lovely and go nice with greenery.

    Good luck!

Does revelry provide color swatches? It may be easier to tell by putting all color swatches together. Colors can vary so much between fabrics and designers, so you never know!

I like the terracotta a lot, but it's hard to tell the true shade of the cinnamon rose because of the difference in lighting!

Revelry does provide swatches, i ordered several pallets of their swatches. The Cinnamon rose swatch is a much deeper tone. my fiance thought it looked too dark. But in pictures of the dresses on their IG it looks like this photo i posted which i like alot. Versus the Terracotta pictures on the Birdy grey it looks very light .. so im conflicted. It is hard when they both looks the same lol

I gotcha, yeah those shades are so similar, it's hard to tell unless you literally order one of each shade and compare in natural lighting, and indoor lighting. If your photographer has a darker/moody editing style, then I think you would be fine getting terracotta!

I prefer cinnamon rose. The terracotta looks a little pink to me, which doesn't seem to fit the look you are going for. I also think the cinnamon rose looks perfect for fall.

I like both, but I think the cinnamon rose gives off more of a fall vibe than the terracotta does.

Both are beautiful, but I agree that Cinnamon Rose feels more fall to me!
