Struggling to find beach wedding colors!

Danielle, on December 29, 2018 at 9:18 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 54
I’ve been searching Pinterest and even google and there are so many great ideas for beach wedding colors, I can seem to find something I’m in love with. Orange shades aren’t my favorite and I don’t want to do everything in blue. Any suggestions?!

Something that's really popular right now is letting white (or ivory) do the heavy lifting and only have touches of your main color here and there. Maybe you have your main color be a beachy light blue but really most of what shines through is an ivory tablecloth with a tan (or sand) colored runner, finished with a mildly pale blue floral centerpiece with a starfish or two. Another beachy color are pinks , associated with sunsets. I'd say you could get away with almost any pastel color.

Bah, FH!!! The last one was my favorite. It was very little mermaid without being over the top about it.

Yes, very pretty but subtle. That’s what I love! He said it’s that olive color on the last one that he doesn’t like but I could do more of a sand color!

Hi Danielle! You received some great color palette ideas and inspo here in this thread! I agree, using neutrals like white, champagne, ivory, blush tones is a great way to keep a light and airy feel. Smiley heart

I also really like the charcoal/emerald color palette you mentioned your FH really liked! Are you leaning towards something like this? Smiley heart With this color scheme, you could even incorporate deep colored greenery, to help carry out this emerald tone in natural, floral & greenery decor! Smiley heart

I’m thinking the emerald palette is probably the way we’re going to go, maybe with a dark teal instead of emerald though (so it’s more a blue green than just a deep green) but I love the gold and seafoam green for accents!!!

I had a beach wedding and my colors were burgundy, navy, gray and gold. Unless you are going for a very beachy theme (accenting with things like starfish, shells, etc) then I think you can use whatever you want. I steered away from that stuff and had a more ethereal look in mind. One thing I thought about doing was using oyster shells as garland/accent. I just had a hard time finding them, so I gave up on that idea.

You can check out some pics on my profile. Best of luck!

I'm going with blush, a slate or dusty blue, and a shade of purple to be determined.

We are doing a Tiffany blue, and a lighter purple, but not quite lavender.

We're doing multiple shades of turquoise and teal and our second color is gray/silver. I don't want to keep myself to one shade because what if I find something that I really need but only comes in a shade to dark or to light. The gray is partly because that's the color of the dress that I want.

I'm doing shades of blue, Malibu dresses, turquoise tablecloths, and light blue chair bows. Adding in sand color with some coral color (sunset and shells) and shell colors.
