When I look up short wedding dresses or little white dresses, a lot of them are mini dresses that are tight to the hips or above the knee.
I think I'm looking for something more knee or calf length, but short enough not the trip over. I want some interesting details in the bodice area since I'll be sitting for dinner and stuff, but with my arms free for dancing later.
I ordered this dress on final sale to see what it would be like. The skirt has some good movement, but I'm realizing the lace sleeves make it so I can barely move my arms in the lace so that was out.

I saw this on Etsy and thought it was really cute. The bodice design would play into the "Victorian ballroom" vibe of the first part of the dance, but it looks like it would be too restricted in the arms. Plus I could only find it on AliExpress which makes me nervous

I feel like these would be cute, but I'm worried about the sleeves getting in the way

This one is very pretty, and the sleeveless design seems good for dancing? The bodice area feels a bit plain though and I'm worried the straight neckline wouldn't be flattering?

This looks pretty gorgeous too, I think the ones with straps but no sleeves might be the way to go? (If anyone knows a trustworthy site to get a dress with this design please let me know)

The problem with all of these is that I don't have any trustworthy websites to purchase from, I just got these pics from Google images and they lead to the shadiest online stores selling them for like $50 or something. When I look on well known bridal sites or shops I've seen recommended or linked, it feels like the designs just aren't what I'm looking for. When I look for normal dresses like this, they look too casual and I really want that bridal mikado-like fabric or at least something that feels more special. If anyone has insights on how to pick a dress that's danceable, twirls nicely, where to find them, specific links/shops, please let me know!
