Straw bale seating

Straw bale seating 1
I am wanting to do straw bales for my ceremony seating. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to keep the fabric pinned down like in the picture. Any other tips for this kind of seating?

I would probably use a ground staple. I do have a suggestion to use a thicker fabric than this though. I imagine sitting on a single piece of fabric over a hay bale is probably still very itchy and pokey on bare legs.

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Katie!

I love this, it's so rustic Smiley love

A staple may be the best idea. You could totally trial this before the day to see if it works!

    Where will your ceremony be?

I don't think guests would be comfortable on hay bales. If you still want to do this, I would definitely use extremely thick fabric so nobody gets poked by straw!

Thicker fabric or perhaps a small cushion under the fabric would work! what about push pins like they use for alterations? they're longer and sturdy!
