Strapless dress and small chest

Pszab, on November 16, 2016 at 7:49 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

Have any of you ladies worn a strapless dress, having a small chest? Can I see some photos? Advice? Did you get one? Is that why you didn't get one?

I have a small chest and wasn't too much into the strapless style because I don't like that it fits like a corset, I don't want something showing if I bend over/move or the seamstress not being able to remove the "extra boob curve" (I dont want it to look like I had a boob job done over night and I don't like stuffing) not saying I'm insecure just don't want to look weird. But some of the dresses I like are strapless and I don't want to have to alter it into straps/illusion

Thanks

I have a smallish chest and wore a strapless. Any good seamstress will make it fit properly and it won't push what girls you do have up too high.

    Have you tried any on?

To be honest, I think strapless looks better a lot of the time on smaller chest. I may have UO but I always worry when a bride is large chested and wears strapless about her falling out. And I can't stand to watch a bride tug on her dress all night!

I agree with the above, I have a larger chest and totally avoided strapless dresses because of it (consultant had me try a few on even though I said no thank you every time.) I always say pick the dress you feel prettiest in so if that's strapless, do it up, lady! Smiley smile

FSIL wore strapless and idk if it was just her (only large chested bride ive ever seen in person) and it was atrocious. I was embarassed for her. Titties EVERYWHERE. Im pretty sure I saw a nipple more than once.

I did try on strapless, it hard to imagine what it would look like because of all this "boob curve" all dresses come standard in... ugh!

I am quite small chested but my strapless dress actually made my boobs look way better in my opinion.

I have a smaller chest and was surprised how well a strapless dress looked. I didn't ultimately decide to go strapless, but it was a close contender. It's a Sophia Tolli gown.

Sometimes strapless dresses are perfect because they hold the girls up and in all the right places :-). The others are right, a good seamstress will ensure that you have the perfect fit-if you need any "reinforcement" so to speak (even if it is only to mentally, so that you can feel that it won't slide down), then Victoria's Secret has double sided tape that works like magic. Again, you won't actually need the tape but if it helps to feel like you have an extra reinforcement there then go for it Gorgeous. I think that strapless dresses are beautiful, have fun trying on all the different colors, shapes, and styles!

It really makes all the difference having a dress altered to your body. A good seamstress will make it fit you like a glove.

I have small boobies and decided to do a 'shoulder off' for that reason. I think its preference though

Girl, a well made dress will not fall or need to be adjusted constantly no matter then size of your breasts! It also will not feel like a corset. If you have the budget I highly recommend matthew christopher, his dresses literally fit the body like no other
