Staying cool

Joelle, on July 4, 2019 at 10:46 AM Posted in Planning 0 5
Getting married outside Las Vegas in September. Any advice on how to stay cool in a heavy wedding dress? I’ve seen “cool patches” they make for migraines. Wondering if I could put one somewhere under the dress to help stay cooler. Any other ideas?

Sorry I don’t have any ideas for that but I would suggest airbrush makeup so it lasts in the heat and humidity. I got married in Florida on the beach in May and it really helped. Good luck.

What time is your wedding and is it covered? If any sun at all, you may need to make sure it’s covered for you & guests or consider photos outside but ceremony inside? My hubby & I were there in August... it was 105... at 10 pm. 🥵

Although this may not be possible if the dress is already ordered, my advice would be not to wear a "heavy" wedding dress. Go with short sleeve or sleeveless and lighter fabric.

Maybe there's some mist you can spray on yourself. Like a facial toner or something hydrating
