I wouldn't start booking any vendors until 12-15 months out at the earliest. In previous posts you mentioned that you hired a wedding planner already. What is he/she/they saying?

I wouldn't start any real planning until 2022.

Enjoy your relationship. You can look up ideas on Pinterest/elsewhere, work on your budget, and maybe start researching vendors and prices online to create a list of potential places/companies to check out. The Knot and Wedding Wire have planning tools. You plug in your date and it breaks everything down by what should be done each month. I preferred the one on The Knot a bit more, but they're very similar.

Not sure why you are waiting so long to get married, but I would definitely wait until your wedding is closer as what you want could change a million times between now and then. I have seen your other posts and I think it is way too early to have a wedding planner. At this point, I would just sit back, relax and enjoy being engaged. I would wait until about a year out to start any real planning. As for 2021, just relax and enjoy life.

I started planning 2 years out. But you can always start getting inspiration now by going to websites and of course Pinterest. Definitely start saving for your wedding now. I would open a checking account specifically for your wedding and put some money every paycheck away.

One of your post said you hired a planner. They should be able to tell you exactly what to do and when to do it.
I got engaged last September and started planning in October 2019 for our October 2020 wedding. I got everything done so quickly I have hardly anything to do now.

I’m planning my wedding on my own. Just using the knot and wedding wire as guidelines for when to complete everything. But you had said that you hired a wedding planner in your previous post, so they should be able to help you.

Hey, I would start by next summer or at least a year and half mark at the latest to start getting at least the venue out of the way and booked.

You’ve asked this question before. Also you just posted what your wedding planner had told you. I’d follow his/her lead with the planning process.
