Starbucks Cake Pops

My Fiance and I aren't going with a traditional cake. We were thinking about doing cake pops instead - has anyone ever order Starbucks cake pops in large quantities? Do they even allow this?

I understand alot of people like and look forward to the cake, but my Fiance and I don't like cake. Why serve something that we don't enjoy ourselves?

If you don't like cake, why get cake pops? They're a crappier version of cake. And unless you're gonna order like 6 per person......

Why not do pies, donuts, or something different? I think there are probably lots of tastier options.

There are so many alternatives to cake! Macarons, cookies, pies, doughnuts, pastries, dessert shooters, and I'm sure others in not thinking of! Don't settle for cake pops, especially if you don't even really like cake.

I agree with PP, the cake pops at Starbucks are not fresh...as a wedding guest...I'd be a little pissed about getting a starbucks cakepop.

If you guys don't like cake, why not do cheesecakes, pies, doughnuts, cookies, or even bundt cakes? (Nothing Bundt Cakes are freaking delicious. If they have a location near you, I'd recommend them...they even do little mini bundts, and are not bad at all price wise. We got 4 of their full size cakes for $113.)

My sister had cake pops are her wedding, we all rolled our eyes when she told us her plan. They ended up being fucking delicious. I ate **** of them and took home some leftovers. She got them from a local place and they did them in little foil wrappers without the sticks.

Cake Pops don't taste anything like cake (at least in my opinion). I appreciate all the tips and advice - we will have to decide what route we want to go.

I'd be sad if I went to a wedding and had to have cake pops instead of cake. Especially from Starbucks. =(

Yes it was! She lives in southern MN so I think it was a place in Rochester. I will ask her and get back to you!

I guess it was Cake Quake in LaCrosse, so it might be a bit far depending on where you are.

Yes they have them nicely packaged in boxes in the refrigerator. You have to talk to the manager ahead of time so they can adjust ordering. I ordered the pink ones in a case once for a birthday party and they were perfect!

You can easily order cake pops on sites like Etsy or even make your own! They are so simple and quick to make.

While I love the idea of making our own - since my best friend loves to bake, we have to order them from a licensed baker.
