Stanley Hotel....good honeymoon spot?

Definitely!! I used to go to school in Estes Park and it is a sweet little town. I actually want to go there for a mini trip with FH after the wedding. It can be quiet during the off season (some of the shops are closed) - but starting in May and in the summer - there are more attractions for tourists. Seriously - it's beautiful and I'm so jealous!

Ps. if you do go there - you need to have breakfast at the Egg and I, lunch at Poppy's, and dinner at Mama Roses' outside by river.

I saw that place on a T.V. show because it is supposedly haunted.

There are a lot of hotels and inns in that area. We stayed in one close by where there was a whirl pool tub in the room.

My FH is very familiar with the area. He goes to the Ft Collins/Loveland area frequently for work. He's always wishing he could take me with him. They stay at the Cambria Suites and they can get the corporate rate for their own personal travel. He actually ran into one of his co-workers in the lobby once in swim trunks. A group was there for training-but this guy had brought his family there for vacation. LOL Needless to say, he was a little surprised to see him. LOL
